Worst gifts to receive for the kids

Coming for the second time in India, and this time with both a baby and a toddler, of course, the family want to spoil them. But it looks like they don’t know anything about kids anymore and offer us some useless presents.

Here is an example our meaningless toys.

  • Basic Craft set (one is nice but when each family is buying one it gets annoying)

Some of the items are really personal from one family to another (bottle, pacifier), some must be obvious NOT to buy (weapons, poor quality toys, clothes too small), and some again are simply useless (3D puzzle for a 3 years old, plastic toys)

I get it, plastic toys are the easiest to find in India, all made in China. But they are to avoid a maximum! Seriously they are very poor, often make a lot of noises and lights. They exists only to give you a headache before it is actually broken. And of course, once you throw it away, it makes extra avoidable waste. Instead, we’re asking our family to go to Hamley’s. That is so far the only place we found that has toys and game with good quality.
